HOSTED BY
Our Children's Ministry exists to serve the women of BsideU for Life while they participate in classes and programs. Children's Ministry volunteers will help care for the children of our clients, ages six weeks old through preschool-age, by teaching Bible stories, crafts, worship songs, and preschool basics. It's important for our Children's Ministry helpers to create a secure, loving, and trusting environment so that the children in our care feel safe.

The ideal Children's Ministry Helper:
  • Loves Jesus Christ
  • Enjoys being around and caring for children
  • Has some previous experience caring for children (babysitting, church nursery, working as a nanny, being a mom or caregiver for a child) though this is not required
  • Comfortable caring for children with difficult backgrounds who may exhibit behavioral issues
Children's Ministry Helpers would be willing to volunteer on either a regular (i.e. weekly/bi-weekly) or as-needed basis. If approved for this opportunity, volunteer shifts would be scheduled in coordination with the Children's Ministry Director.
