Hope Place After-school Program

Imagine having the opportunity to serve the nations without ever needing to get on a plane. A place where many languages are spoken and love is felt. This is what you will find at Hope Collaborative's Community Development Center, Hope Place.  It is a place where everyone is welcome and no matter what door they may come through before arriving they will receive compassion, empathy, and support.  Hope Place is located on Southside Drive of South Louisville.  It is reported that over 100 languages are spoken in the areas surrounding Hope Place!

We have After-school programs (Hope Place Academy) for school aged youth in the South Louisville community offering a variety of therapeutic, expressive art, dance and mindfulness classes.  We are in need of volunteers to assist Hope Place teachers in our Academy classes and be comfortable working with children from various backgrounds. 

Volunteers should commit to serving, if possible, once a week Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
