About Us
ON A MISSION TO END CHILD TRAFFICKING
AND INTRODUCE YOUTH TO CHRIST
Youth Prevention and Community Awareness
Safe Passage is on the frontlines of community training and prevention for youth. We want to see human trafficking end. We work to reach students before traffickers do and we educate the community on prevention, recognition and response. Our youth prevention program is called, “Raise the Standard”, which was founded under Refuge for Women. We partner together to reach students all across Kentucky! The program educates students about sexual abuse and human trafficking. We want to help youth identify vulnerabilities and seek help for any unhealthy relationship that could lead them into sexual exploitation, abuse, and trafficking. In addition to our student program, we also provide training for professionals, parents and community groups.
Survivor Led Support Services
Safe Passage offers survivor led support services to trafficked and high-risk youth. We provide Christ-centered and trauma-informed support that is relevant to overcoming trafficking trauma, trauma-bonding, and re-entering “the life”. Our goal is to fully end the cycle of victimization. We work with parents, foster care agencies, schools, law-enforcement, and many others to wrap relevant and specialized services around these survivors. Our services include survivor mentoring, pastoral support, advocacy, and programs for healing and resiliency. We work to tailor our support to the individual’s needs, dreams, and circumstances.
