Youth Survivor Mentor
You must be signed in to complete this application.
Safe Passage is Kentucky's frontline responder to the issue of child trafficking. We provide mentorship and support services to youth ages 10 - 19 who have been victims to child sex trafficking, exploitation, or grooming. We serve boys and girls, and have need of male and female mentors. We need mentors in Louisville, New Albany, Shelbyville, Frankfort, Lexington, and everywhere in between.
Unsure what to expect? It's simple. We walk alongside survivors. Check out Hayley's Story.
ABOUT THE MENTORSHIP
Mentorship is a restorative relationship that encourages growth and healing, builds protective factors, fosters resiliency, and develops a positive and encouraging support system to end victimization for good. The mentor's role is to be an encouraging role model who gives the youth a safe, non-pushy, and non-judgmental place to heal and explore their hopes for life.
