You are invited to join us as we head to Havana, Cuba, over the 2024 Easter break. In Havana we will be working with Campo Amor, a Southeast Ministry Partner who is doing amazing things for the people of Cuba. Campo Amor, is a youth sports foundation that includes a network of 36+ house churches spread across Cuba. Our team will provide support to the local church through participation in worship services, visit different house churches, share personal testimonies, pray with families, conduct street evangelism, and more! The team will also have the opportunity to serve in the Campo Amor Café and make bread and pastries in the Campo Amor bakery.
Cuba has one of the lowest crime rates in the Western Hemisphere, and because tourism is a key source of income in Cuba, the government places a very high priority on the safety of tourists. The team will experience the wonderful hospitality of the Cuban people while also knowing they are in one of the safest countries around.
We look forward to serving our partner and are excited to invite this team to join in on the rich history we have with Campo Amor.
Restrictions:
1) Trip members must be adult members of Southeast Christian church or have verified attended for at least 6 months. Youth over age 12 applying must have a parent applying and both must actively participate on all aspects of the trip.
2) Trip members must have a current passport with an expiration date that goes 6 months beyond the last day of the trip.
3) Trip members must be able to actively walk long distances over uneven terrain and climb stairs.
4) Daily basic travel insurance is included in your trip costs.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Southeast Volunteer Application must be completed within 5 days of trip application. Missions Ministry will send to each applicant who has not already completed one.
- Anyone 18 and over must complete Southeast online MinistrySafe training. Missions Ministry will send to each applicant who has not already completed one.
- Please upload clear, color copies of passports to ServiceReef via the My Dashboard link at top of page in jpeg or pdf format.
Responsibilities
- All forms must be completed by due date found on My Dashboard in ServiceReef. Participants will be dropped if deadlines are met. Feel free to complete necessary forms as early as possible.
- Participants are required to attend all mandatory meetings and retreats.
- Updated vaccine requirements are NOT included in trip cost. Required vaccines are sole responsibility of participants. Please visit the CDC website to check requirements for your destination. https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/list

Preparation
- Once you have signed up, customize your Fundraising page so donors know where you are going and what you are doing. You can share the page on Facebook and other social media outlets.
